Mint has always been one of my favorite colors. And I’m happy to see it more often nowadays, especially because it is a spring trend 2014. Why I’m so obsessed with mint is, because I always thought it is such an elegant color. It is a nice color to wear, which is not too colorful. This look makes me feel flawless, like a real Queen B (see picture here Béyonce). And indeed, my inspiration for this look was the Rococo style / late baroque style, as seen in Marie Antoinette‘s style, with it pearls, expensive jewelry, massive hair, a huge amount of make up, like white powder, and pink cheeks. Lately I am enjoying the 90’s influence on today’s fashion (read more about 90’s mania). One of my favorite looks is the 90’s grunge. It’s such a laid back and comfy style which represents coolness effortlessly. The contemporary version of the 90’s grunge style combines the messy I-don’t-care look and makes it more sophisticated by adding some accessories.
